Team Coaching

Sustainable Strength in Numbers

Team sessions are dynamic, interactive and allow individuals to share who they are with honesty, candor and respect. Teams learn about their strengths and innate talents as individuals and how well they work together as a team.

Engagements include team sessions as well as individual coaching for each team member. Within the group sessions, teams create strategies for success using real-time challenges.

Team members share how they operate with others and what they need from each other to be more successful. These conversations increase respect across the team, build greater understanding of each other, and significantly strengthen working relationships.

When working with our teams, Susan provides powerful leadership insights and helps us make sense of ourselves, so we work more effectively together.

Sustainable Results Achieved by Team Coaching:

  • Personalized team strategies increase team effectiveness
  • Improved communication and collaboration
  • Initiate broader, deeper solutions
  • Lift productivity and job performance
  • Realize the most advantageous mix of individual strengths

Prior to team facilitation, teams may be observed in order to provide insights to existing challenges. Often team members complete assessment tools prior to the team engagement.

Teams can choose a short-term, high-impact engagement or a longer-term coaching approach.  A short-term engagement could involve a day or a month of sessions, utilizing one tool, with limited follow-up coaching. A longer-term engagement could be delivered over multiple months to a year, including team sessions and leadership coaching, utilizing a variety of tools to increase working relationships and collaboration.

Sample Team Coaching Plan

Month 2: Team kick-off session with interview findings
Launch individual leadership coaching
Months 3–5: Team sessions with a focus on team alignment
Continued leadership coaching
Month 6: Presentation of leadership plans
